Doctors
Doc Wyoming--HSR (12/93)--'Women Who Dare'
This is an older HSR and part of the Women Who Dare line published back in the 90's.
Wicked and good
Excellent fun, fast, and hot. This book has a lot of soul too. I fell in love with Renae's struggles to rise in the world, and loved her belly dancing lessons. And I fell in love with her doctor neighbor and his wicked grin. This story has a lot of heart. And the sex scenes are five alarm fires. Tori Carrington are one perfect husband and wife writing team.
Doctors and falling in love
What is it about doctors and falling in love? How many times have you fallen in love with a medical professional? Go on, admit it. We all do it. They have that incredible allure about them when they are in charge of your care. Is it the white coat? The stethoscope? Or is it that calm air of command, the stable centre in the storm of life that is raging around you. By the way there are no intrument throwing heroes in my novels!
Hospitals are places of high drama. That's why writing Medical romances is so satisfying. While my primary home is in the Presents line, I just love exploring the deep and complex relationships that occur between my medical heroes and heroines. I love a man in a uniform so that is why cops often feature in my Medicals. My next release is Her Rebel Knight and I can't wait to see what the art department have made of my black leather wearing cop hero!
I hope you enjoy this new blog for Medical authors. We are a friendly bunch who love sharing the story behind the stories we write. Tell us about your most memorable medical hero, you know, the one who stayed in your mind long affer you finished the book.
All the best,
Melanie Milburne

Greek Doctor’s New Year’s Baby by Kate Hardy
A friend from here recommended this author and am I glad I gave her a try. The book deals with two characters who have each dealt with pain in their lives and how they are able to move forward. I am really hoping that Kat (Madison’s cousin) gets her story next.
Excerpt:
Can a Doctor Really Order Safety?
Once he was her mentor and her lover...that ended badly. Now, he's her boss. Can these two individuals work together with so much history between them? Can they work together to solve a medical mystery? Or will the mystery be the end of them altogether?
Her Lawman on Call by Marie Ferrarella
with the M.D. at the altar
This was good read for me too. She ketp you on toes as to who the villians were in this book.

Healing Tides (Pennies From Heaven) by Lois Richer LI #432 - Feb 08
What a shock! GloryAnn Cranbrook was born and raised in the extremes of the Arctic but must live in Hawaii for 6 months to pay off a debt. And she doesn't want to go! Before her missionary mother passed away, GloryAnn promised she'd go back and doctor to the Inuit. She promised.
Dr. Jare Steele is used to doctors - female and otherwise - parading through his clinic, giving orders, changing things, then leaving again. He's built up an immunity to people walking out on him. What started as a personal tragedy has evolved into a wall of stoicism that no one - including the children in his care - can breach.
GloryAnn just wants to do her 6 months then leave. She doesn't want to enjoy the warm tropical breeze, the refreshing morning swims, the abundance of fresh fruit. She knows when she goes north, everything will be weeks if not months old and terribly expensive so she mustn't get used to this kind of life.
