Xypher long ago was betrayed by someone he thought he loved and has been condemned to eternal torture in Tartarus. Now he has one month to redeem himself through one good deed. Simone Dubois lead an eccentric life even before Xypher appeared in her world. She knew of the world of Dark Hunters and damions. As a medical examiner, she works with the dead in more than one capacity. She can truly say – she sees dead people. Those wrongly killed come to her to help find evidence to convict those responsible for their deaths. But Xypher is different and he changes her world from eccentric to bizarre.

Dream Chaser by Sherrilyn Kenyon (St. Martin's Press, 2008)
A Dream-Hunter Novel, based in the same universe as Kenyon’s Dark Hunter novels.
Not as richly written and emotive as her earlier Dark Hunter books, but not bad.
My rating: 3/5

Once Aidan O’Conner lived the life of the famed as a well-known celebrity, now he lives the life of a recluse by choice after those around him has betrayed him. Content in his life of solitude until a stranger comes knocking on his door. She seems familiar – someone he has seen in his dreams.
