I won this book in one of Holly's contests. I absolutely LOVED it. What a surprise… NOT. I have loved every book of Holly's that I have read. Eli was a real person with all the inherent problems of "personhood". Zach was a dream, though not totally perfect. Zach's family was proof that family can be chosen. as for Arthur, he was a … … pip, but he came through in the end.

I won this book in the Drenched with Desire contest. I really liked this book. Conner was as cold as ice until Eve warmed him. I liked the way Jan portrayed Conner. He wasn't being mean, just distant, protecting himself from the world. Eve was very real. I was surprised that she was a TV celebrity because she didn't fit the typical model of celebrity.

To be honest, this books touched on several of my "hotspots" so I didn't like it as much as "An Officer & A Millionaire". It was well written, but the hero was too alpha for my taste. He steamrolled the heroine to achieve his own desires without any thought of how she would like things to proceed. In addition, he re-made Morgan Beach in his own image.

I won this book in the "Drenched with Desire" contest. I had a hard time warming up to this hero but once I was warmed up, I liked him a lot. Alpha tendencies, but not over the top. I really loved the heroine. I really liked how she played the Lady Bountiful, not because she was putting on airs, but like she was acting normally for her conception of village life.

I won this book in the "Drenched in Desire" contest. It's Sandra's first book for Desire, and I think it's her first book ever, but I don't know for sure. Anyway, you couldn't prove it by the writing. I'd say Sandra has a good career in front of her. I liked her heroine, Calypso. Her hero, Nick, was a little bit to alpha for my taste.

I won this book in the Drenched in Desire contest. I really loved the heroine in the story. I liked the hero less. It was a reunion story, Cody, the hero, wanted revenge on the heroine, Sarah Rose, for leaving him. But she had her reasons for leaving him like she did, and he doesn't want to see or understand her reasons. I enjoyed the books despite the hero's actions.

Robbie sent me this book along with the book for my drenching in Desire. It's a Harlequin Presents so she wanted to see how I liked her Presents' hero. I really loved him. You see, I don't think Robbie writes "alpha" heros, or at least not "alpholes". Presents heros really rile me because generally they are mean, but this hero wasn't and so didn't rile me.

I won this book in the "Drenched in Desire" contest. I liked the story and the hero and the heroine. Robbie writes my kind of "alpha hero", which in my not-so-humble opinion are not "alphole" at all. I thought the hero behaved quite nicely when he gave his medallion to… oops, that would be spoiling the ending.Anyway, read the book. You like Alex and Nathalie, despite their stubborness.
