Elle Kavanagh met Dan Stewart at a candy store. This wasn't a children's candy store. After they went to a bar and had a few drinks. Dan walked Elle home with not so much as a kiss or an exchange of names. A few weeks go by and a friend talks her into visiting a bar. There she meets Dan again and he draws a mind blowing orgasm from her on the dance floor. This time when he leaves, he leaves her his business card. She waits a week to call him and they arrange to meet for lunch. After lunch is finished they have sex in the ladies bathroom. Elle isn't one to get involved. Kissing on the lips is to intimate. Favourite Scene: (I love how simple but poignant the line "marry me and let's have kids" is)

He leaned forward and placed light kisses on her nose, the corner of her mouth, her lips....

"But not," he responded in a low voice, "if you're interviewing for the position of wife."
Her heart flipped over. "What did you say'?"

I really was not expecting this book to be what it was.  There were a lot of erotic scenes between Dan and Elle which were great, but I really got into the story.  Elle was very standoffish with Dan was obviously only using him for sex.  The reasons she closes herself off from others is serious.  There are really deep hurts and secrets.  Elle also has cut herself off from almost everyone else

Amy Hardaway stayed in her hometown instead of moving away like her sisters. She doesn't realize she's nursing an old crush on the man who eventually married and divorced her sister. But now he's back. And his attraction to Amy flares up old feelings. She can't get involved with her sister's ex-husband --- can she?

Jon Costas is beginning to think he married the wrong sister all those years ago. Can he convince his family that getting involved with another Hardaway sister won't leave him brokenhearted - again?

Talk about a dysfunctional family! This trilogy takes the cake but it's a good read!
