Caring is Sharing, Right?
Ok so you know it's NOT a good morning when you wake up with a headache, have to drive one kidlet to school while it's still DARK, stop at Tim Hortons for a bagel and coffee and...drive away from the drive thru without your food.
Stellar.
To Ebook Or Not To Ebook
I've never read a book online nor have I ever sorted out all the various ereaders out there. Maybe I'm old-fashioned that way? Should a 35 year old be old-fashioned? I'm pretty tecno-savvy in other ways. I have iPods, digital cameras. I even use the mp3 player on my phone from time to time.
My PRINT TBR . . .
A little while back, Amy in the Toronto office showed us her TBR, including her Sony Reader. So I thought that I should show off my TBR.
I told y'all back at the start of '08 that if I didn't buy or borrow another book, it would take me about 2 years to get through my print TBR. Well, do y'all really think that I haven't bought or borrowed any books since the beginning of '08? The answer, of course, is no.
DH bo't me this shelving unit a couple of months ago. Every single book on it is in my print TBR. There are 5 shelves on it (you can see shelves #2, 3 & 4). The fact that I had to truncate the pic so much to make it fit here alone should tell me something about how out-of-control my bibliophilism is.

Welcome to eHarlequin's Digital Media world!!! All year long, we're going to explore the alternative (eBook, audio book) formats that Harlequin Enterprises offers. We'll also have a look at, errr, a listen to, the podcasts -- interviews with favorite authors, inside information from editors -- great resources for aspiring authors (and interesting to those of us who are happily "readers-only"). We'll scout out these digital parts of eHarlequin.com by doing Treasure Hunts that will take us "around the world"!!

A Cool Survey About eBooks -- Your eBook Reading and Buying Habits
Next month (Feb '09), there is a conference in NYC called The Tools Of Change (TOC) For Publishing. Some of what they will discuss is eBooks! For one of the workshops, they'd like to know what we readers think!!
So, here's a link to the survey that they've created -- which they've called "Smart Women Read eBooks" !! Isn't that great of them? Let me know if you complete it and if it generates any thoughts that you'd like to share here or in the eBook Discussion Forum.
