The Good, the bad and the ugly...
THE GOOD:
I don't know how many of you are also members of the M&B community, but there is a similar web based community supported by M&B. There is a lot less traffic over there, but it is still a lovely, supportive community. There are similar types of forums, blogs and book reviews. But they are doing one thing that I love.

Retro!!! But Wait....Where Did My Body Go????
I received a clothing catalog last week and opened it expecting to see the usual too tight tops, too short sweaters, crop pants. In my day we called any pants that hit above the ankles “floods,” so I do have a slight aversion to crop pants.
Community Map Project
Where in the world are YOU? Here's your chance to put yourself on the eHarlequin.com Community map and show the world just how many of us book-loving, romance-reading, author-hugging members there really are!
Click HERE to go to our Google Maps page and from there follow these simple instructions to add your name and location to the Community Map.
First you'll need to sign in with a Google Account, then click on the Edit button. In the top left-hand corner of the Google Maps page you'll find a little blue marker that looks like a balloon with a black dot in it. Click and drag that marker to your location on the world map. Once you've dropped the marker, a small window will open (see right) for you to add your profile information. Type your Community ID into the Title box, then switch the view to rich text and enter the following, just insert your community ID instead of mine...eg <Jayne's> profile at eHarlequin.com. Link that line of text to your profile page at eHarlequin.com by inserting that URL with the 'link' icon (looks like a small chain) This is the same icon we use in our community to add links, so it should be familiar.
Once you've finished, click on OK to complete your entry.
Let's put ourselves on the MAP!

Welcome to the Silhouette Romantic Suspense blog! We are so excited to have a blog at eHarlequin.
To kick things off, I'll introduce myself. I'm Deb Cowan. I write for SRS and also for Harlequin Historicals.
I've been reading Harlequins since I was fourteen and realized I could subscribe without my mom's permission. LOL. Harlequin Presents was my first subscription, but I soon branched out to several of the lines. I love great stories, regardless of the line. I admit to having a special place in my heart for SRS -- these stories and authors have given me years of reading pleasure.
It's great to have you here!

Articles...
I've been writing articles lately (in addition to write books! <g>) and eHarlequin is reprinting a series that was in RWR Magazine on how many facets of publishing works.
eHarlequin's Pajama Party
So, every year at RWA National, on Thursday night, there's a party. Not just any party. My favorite party of the year. eHarlequin's pajama party.
August releases are out today...plus a lot more!
There's lots for me to get into a short post today so get ready!
Back after Power Outage
Three days without electricity may not seem like much if you're on a camping trip. Three days without electricity in the middle of a snowstorm when the temperatures are below freezing, however, are something else altogether!
Singing the Praises of eHarlequin
I just wanted to put a note of thanks to Harlequin Enterprises. What other publisher, anywhere in the world, has created forums like this where writers and readers can interact, make lasting friendships, blog about books or anything else that strikes our fancy, as well as offering books for sale? There is a simple one-word answer: none.
