5 Hearts! ~~~ This is by far my favourite Diana Palmer to date!   Nicky and Winthrop both have pain and betrayal in their pasts, and shy away from commitment.   I loved how Nicky slowly brought Winthrop some light in his life and how their relationship builds until neither can live without the other.  Ms Palmer has a remarkable talent for creativing sizzling chemistry that adds delicious tension that continues at a high level throughout the story.This is one Diana Palmer book that should not be missed!

Mortal Enemy, Immortal Lover was a fascinating paranormal story about Javed, an experiment gone wrong, an immortal created to be predator to demons and vampires and other monsters, but so good that the monsters try to get Javed and their other natural predators, the Eradicators, to mutually eliminate each other.

This continues directly from where aRiB leaves off, which is why you need to have both – Jesse and Gideon try to avoid the lawsuit Michelle throws at them, and Foster determined to have his revenge, JT and David are still in Chicago and Jesse has to decide whether to ask for John’s help against Foster or whether it would be more dangerous to give John that kind of power.

Warning: this book leads directly into book 8 and even into book 9 which is not out yet, you might like to wait to read them in a row as it will undoubtedly be less frustrating. Jesse wakes up in London where Michelle tells him that Emma has been killed and Gideon has disappeared, she believes he’s dead.

Jesse saves Gideon and Emma from fire in the nick of time and they have to move house, but then a spell on the new house robs Gideon of his memories of the last hundred something years.
