Excellent read.

What happens when a repressed photographer, his box-shaped dog and a secret formula that makes flesh vanish come together?  Ask his hapless wife and the most depraved couple in New York City!

Thorne Smith does it again, with the tale of a statue come to life, a pool that is a veritable Fountain of Youth, a wealthy old man, his wife, and his mistress, a lusty French maid, a half-crazed Japanese butler, a seller of rare pornography and the local fire department,  and what happens when all these things come together.

Alas, Thorne Smith did not finish this book before he died; it was taken up by Norman Matson.  The style is rather different, although there is still enough of Thorne Smith's racy humor to satisfy.

Topper was made into at least two movies and a television series, which were fun in their own right, but had none of the risque goings on of the original book. 

Terrific Randall story. A new element of intrigue in this series was a welcome surprise.  I have read all of this authors books and look forward to every new story in every line.

OH MY GOODNESS! ROBYN HAS DONE IT AGAIN, ANOTHER HOT READ. AND LET ME TELL YOU FOLKS, THIS AUTHOR'S STORIES HAVE ALL BEEN GREAT BUT THEY JUST KEEP GETTING HOTTER AND BETTER.

THIS IS A BOOK ABOUT REUNITED OLD FLAMES/LOVERS AND I REALLY LIKE THEY WAY ROBYN TAKES THE READER THROUGH THE FORGIVING/GETTING OVER THE PAST AND WORKING THROUGH THINGS FOR A BRIGHT FUTURE.
