Saying Yes to the Millionaire

challenge_name:

Plot includes two fabulous ideas I wish I'd thought of first - lovely characters, and a bit that made me cry - recommended read.

English Lord, Ordinary Lady

Wonderful sparky heroine (I loved her hair), gorgeous hero. Great read.

Brainstorming

I'm about halfway through the first pass at my revisions...there will be some fine tuning to do after I get all the way to the end...but this morning I got sidetracked into a brainstorming session.

Taken by the Bad Boy

challenge_name:

Serena: She’s got a career to forge and dreams to chase – and in the meantime she’s not averse to a little romance…of the strictly carefree kind…

Pete: The impossibly handsome helicopter pilot revels in the thrill of the chase, but he never falls for a girl; she will fall for him, and he’s the one to walk away…

The Consolations of Philosophy

challenge_name:

I read this book as research for my next book, which features a philosophy professor hero.  A good way to brush up on my philosophy, because I was very rusty.

Theodora's Diary

challenge_name:

Since Inspirational Romance is so big in North America, I decided to see what some of the Brit writers are doing in that field.  Having said that, Theodaora's Diary isn't really a romance, more a Christian version of Bridget Jones.

English Lord, Ordinary Lady

challenge_name:

Eblgisah Lord,Ordinary Lady may have a title and possibly a blurb that appears to be a Regency set story (it fooled a few people in the name that catagory competition on Write Stuff), BUT it is a wonderful feel good book with a thoroughly contemporary feel.
