Megan - Book 3 of Sisters Trilogy - by Marisa Carroll 1997
Because this is the story of Megan Hardaway, the oldest sister, I kne
w it would involve the return of her missing son. (It says so on the back!) Her estranged husband, Navy SEAL Noah Carson, also comes back when he hears the news. Now if you love a good suspense book with a stalker and a good fight scene, then this book is for you. But there were so many sub-plots to play out from Book 1 & 2 that needed to be tied up, that I felt the romance level suffered.
Still, I wanted to see how it all turned out and I'm very glad I read the book. It had a very satisfying conclusion to the series.
Amy - Sisters (Book 1) - by Peg Sutherland 1997
Amy Hardaway stayed in her hometown instea
d of moving away like her sisters. She doesn't realize she's nursing an old crush on the man who eventually married and divorced her sister. But now he's back. And his attraction to Amy flares up old feelings. She can't get involved with her sister's ex-husband --- can she?
Jon Costas is beginning to think he married the wrong sister all those years ago. Can he convince his family that getting involved with another Hardaway sister won't leave him brokenhearted - again?
Talk about a dysfunctional family! This trilogy takes the cake but it's a good read!
Slow Burn
Heather is good at layering stories. You've got three or four different things going on in the story and you're trying to figure them all out at once. But she does it well, you're not left feeling overwhelmed with information,
