good vs. evil

273. Kimberly Raye ~ Now and Forever ~ Silhouette Dreamscapes [1996]

challenge_name:

I wanted something a little darker and paranormal and having a few of the Dreamscapes: Whispers of Love books in my TBR I figured they were just the thing. I started with Kimberly Raye's Now and Forever because the cover appealed as well as the blurb from the back.  It turned out to be very good indeed and, having other of Ms. Raye's books, both Harlequin and other, in my TBR I think I'll be getting to them sooner rather than later. Excellent story; it was spooky, nail-biting and fascinating ~ oh and sexy... WOW!

RATING:
Excellence: Excellent + ~ 4 stars of 5
Steaminess: Sensual

THE HOLLOW by Nora Roberts, Bk 2 of Sign of Seven trilogy

Bk #59--My thoughts: This one is Fox and Layla's story. Good book--and just good; not spectacular.  Personally, I liked the first one better. I think my big drawback with this book was the heroine. I felt it just took too long for her to get where she needed to be emotion wise. But that's just my opinion...
