Favourite Scene: (the hero is drunk and thinks he's dreaming)
'No!' she choked again, 'Get your hands off me, you...'Tut, tut, tut,' he scolded, a long, incredibly sensitive finger coming out to tap her scorching cheek. 'This is my dream,' he announced. 'And I like my nymphs willing, not naughty. Well, maybe a little naughty,' he then amended on a husky little laugh.

Favourite Scene: (post-coital misunderstanding, he wants an explaination for why she was a virgin, she thinks he wants a rating on performance)
‘Speak to me,’ he demanded, and his sharp tone finally roused her from her semi-conscious state.
‘It was amazing,’ she said faintly. ‘You’re very good.’
Shock flared in his dark eyes and he muttered something in Greek under his breath. ‘That is not what I was asking you,’ he breathed, faint colour highlighting the perfection of his bone structure.
Summer Lovin'
(I didn’t like the title since it really has nothing to do with the
book). I read Under the Boardwalk which was the sister book to this
one, last year. I’ve read two of her three Chandler series. I like her.
This was a good book. Solid. It didn’t make me swoon and the lack of
justice didn’t make me feel really good about the ending. But it was a
The Greek Tycoon's Convenient Bride by Kate Hewitt
You know, Kate Hewitt is fast becoming one of my favorite Harlequin authors! LOVED this book. The insecurities of both the hero and the heroine are real and how they overcome these internal conflicts to find love is gut renching. Kate really slices a vein and bleeds when she writes. Awesome stuff.
Rich as Sin by Anne Mather (HP 1567)
Back Cover:
Sexual compulsion…
She was sensitive and naïve - and incredibly innocent - and he was about to ruin her life. There was no justification for what he was doing. After all, Greeks respect their women; they don't take advantage of tehm.
But he, of course, was only half Greek. And he'd obviously forgotten the old Greek proverb that warns, "The man who lights the fire is not immune to being burned."
My Review:
Lovely lovely premise: the hero falls in lust with the heroine, the caterer at his ex-girlfriend's engagement party, and he sets about chasing her. I love a good chase. The chemistry is great, the heroine is nicely innocent. The heroine is engaged, which complicates things, the hero doesn't let the engagement stop him though he knows he should: he has no problem resisting his engaged ex-girlfriend, but he can't resist the engaged caterer he's instantly attracted to.
The Greek Billionaire's Baby Revenge by Jennie Lucas
I liked this book. Nikos Stavrakis was deliciously alpha and totally sexy! Loved his bad boy side that contrasted with the cool ceo man. Definately an exciting read.
A Rose From Lucifer by Anne Hampson (HP 483)
When Colette Moore was a teen her father died and her mother eventually met another man and remarried – and lived to regret it. Lewis Whitney is not a nice man and his daughter Elspeth makes their lives miserable. Colette hates her but she does envy her her boyfriend, Greek Luke Marlis.
The Greek Tycoon's Unexpected Wife by Annie West
I liked this book and enjoyed the hero and the heroine. But I must admit, Stavros Denakis was just a little to alpha male for me! Sexy as sin, but very alpha. Loved the internal conflicts of the characters.
The Greek Tycoon's Wife by Kim Lawrence (HP 2360)
Back Cover:
Nikos Lakis is the ultimate Greek Tycoon. He's cool, controlled, and definitely sexy - and he's also married to a woman he hasn't seen since their wedding day. Katerina may be his wife but she's never been his lover ... until their accidental reunion ignites an uncontrollable passion! Is it time for the billionaire to bed his bride?
Favourite Quote: (between hero & random chick)
'Are you asthmatic?' Nikos asked.
'No, just fat and unfit.'
