I read lots of books. If I read a book by an author and like it lots, I tend to go on a hunt for a few other books by that author and read a bunch at once. I do a mini-marathon of author's works. I get into a mood where I really am enjoying something about that author's style.
I have to give it up for Gail Barrett, one of my fellow Silhouette Romantic Suspense authors. In HEART OF A THIEF, she creates wonderful characters, a fast-paced story, and a whole lot of sizzle. I loved the Spanish setting and Gypsy hero. Luke Moreno is muy caliente!
I love Loreth's heroes. And in this case I love the setting. I love right across the water from Granville Island and I love how much of this book happens on the Island (which is really in my back yard). Definitely worth reading.

Let me preface my review by saying I'm new to the world of erotic romance. I write sexy, and I like to read sexy, but I'm not that familiar with erotic romance authors. I had this preconcieved notion that in erotic romance, the relationship wouldn't be as well developed and the story less emotionally moving.
