The Single Dad's Patchwork Family by Claire Baxter (Romance)
This is a lovely story that shares the emotional and difficult journey that a single parent often goes through. I’d like to share the following excerpt from the story, that, for me, encapsulates the emotions:

…‘Mum, did Dad leave because he didn’t like us?...’
Hired: The Italian’s Convenient Mistress by Carol Marinelli, HM&B, Presents
I have mixed feelings about this book. I enjoy this storyteller. Marinelli writes engaging stories and I love this heroine, however, the hero is not one of my favorites. I started out liking him, midway through the book he started irritating me—when the worst of his alpha male showed up to stay. He became less likeable throughout the rest of the story.
Wedded in a Whirlwind by Liz Fielding
Stranded on a tropical island with a rebel--who might be Mr. Right!
#216 – Sleeping Partner by Kelly Hunter (Harlequin M&B, Sexy Sensation, 2007)
"Restoring a dilapidated hotel doesn't come cheap, but Mia Fletcher doesn't want to accept financial help from Ethan Hamilton. Only the dangerously sexy hotelier isn't a man who takes no for an answer...
As their flirting turns into something so much more pleasurable, Mia knows Ethan isn't a forever kind of guy, but she cannot resist taking what he has to offer."
Rating: Excellent 5 stars
