I went bombing around ton with a mate of mine. We thought we heard funny noises under the bonnet (however to no avail in finding anything). We happened to be braked in a parking square in a plaza that had a second-hand shoppe. Naturally, We stepped in and immediately me eyes zoned in on the used "book corner" the shoppe possessed.
I very much enjoyed Baby, I'm Yours. Carrie always does a great job depicting family life and this book was no exception. The portraits of the three children at very different ages was so realistic.

Through a million-dollar inheritance, an impulse buy and a motherless little girl, a jaded lawyer and a widower father learn the true value of love.
Powerful writing in a difficult situation. I was in shock at how this book began, but it was also very easy to see (and believe) how this romance developed in the worst of times. Sorrow and grief can make people respond in odd ways. This was definitely odd, but it turned out ok. I guess it wouldn't be romance if it hadn't!
Excellent book the characters were life like with real life problems. The only thing that bugged me was when Dakota started the pill. Okay I know I'm a bugger about details, but I had to go the the Ortho website to see if one could take the pill right then and there. I'm not up to speed on some things and Ms. Novak was right. Okay so shot me.
