4 Hearts! ~~~ If you like your Cowboys hot, sweaty and in charge, you need to read Lorelei James' Rough Rider series.  This is Book # 4 in the series, bringing us Kade McKay, the bad, boy McKay who is tired of being lumped in with the rest of his clan.   He want's Skylar and he knows that the reputation of the McKay men for their wildness isn't going to win him points.  Skylar has some serious emotional scars from her past that make Kade's mission all the harder.  Although the love scenes are hot and plentiful, they enhance Kade and Skylar's journey.  I loved being reunited with characters from the previous books.

3 ½ Hearts! ~~~ These are novellas originally releases as part of various anthologies.  While I enjoyed them all very much, they lack the intensity and spark that I've come to expect in a full novel by Lora Leigh.  These are wonderful filler stories in the Breed saga.

4 ½ Hearts! ~~~ This is the eleventh book in Lora Leigh's Breeds series.  All of the stories in this series are quite emotionally intense; this one even more so.  Faith has been rejected by her mate, Jacob for the past six years, and now being forced to be together, she fears he'll accept her as mate only out of pity for her.  I loved how Jacob came to realize that while he thought he had been protecting Faith through the years, he had actually been causing her great pain.  Faith amazes Jacob with her fierce stubbornness, and her heart that has never given up the hope of love.  A great read!

4 Hearts! ~~~ This is the seventh book in Lora Leigh's Breed series and the first one published through Berkley.  I found that the tone is not quite as raw as with Ellora's Cave.  The story is as intense as the others, and I loved the fact that Meghan, though not a breed, has her own special talents that make her and Braden a formidible team!

4 Hearts! ~~ This is my first time reading Ms. Agnew and it will most certainly not be the last!  While both of these stories have themed with a hero from the military, they are not linked in any other way.  If you're looking for fun, sexy reads give these a try.

4 Hearts! ~~ Both of these authors are new to me, and I enjoyed their stories very much.  Each has that extra heat that I enjoy, while the love story is satisfying and the HEA's a delight to read. 

3 ½ Hearts! ~~~ I do enjoy Ciana Stone's erotic love stories.  Both these stories have sizzle and are entertaining from the first pages.  Sin in Jeans has elements of the paranormal along lines of her Hot in the Saddle series.  Though I enjoyed both of these stories, Sin in Jeans was my favourite. 

4 Hearts! ~~~ In this latest scorcher from Lacey Alexander, Wendy tries hard to convince herself that the hot anything goes action between the sheets she shares with Brandon is strictly no strings.   Of course, she's fooling herself ... the reason it's so good between them is that their connection reaches beyond just the physical.   Though the heat in this one is off the charts, it's appropriate for the developing bond between Wendy and Brandon.  If you like your romance hot, you'll love this one!

The Bikini Diaries by Lacey Alexander ~ Penquin ~ February 2009

3 ½ Hearts! ~~~ Both stories were fun steamy reads.  I love Ms. Ferruci's voice and found her story to be witty, sexy and all around enjoyable.  Ms. Greene's story was equally fun, with some delicious angst thrown in.
