This was my first book by Candace Hern. I picked it up because of the gorgeous cover. I know, you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but I'd heard good things about the author too. She didn't disappoint. The book was delightful.

This is the third in Elizabeth Hoyt's "Princes" trilogy.  Loved this one even more than the other two!  Elizabeth Hoyt has started another series that I'm going to have to pick up as well.  It's called "The Legend of the Four Soldiers" series.  Obviously, there are going to be four books.  I'm looking forward to them.

This is the second book in Elizabeth Hoyt's "Princes" trilogy.  I loved this one too.  I especially liked the fact that there is the other "fairy tale" being told throughout the story.  She does this in all three.  Very good.

Deana's book SILENT IN THE SANCTUARY captivated me from the very first page. Her voice and the voice of her main character did not miss a beat. The book included forbidden romance, mystery, and the most delightful cast of characters I've read in a long time. This is only this author's second book, but I'm going to and read her first and I'll be buying her next one too!

His Cavalry Lady, by Joanna Maitland, is based on the life of a real woman who joined the Russian hussars by posing as a man. In the book Alexandra Ivanova Kuralkina finds her commitment to her job and her country tested when she falls in love with Dominic Aikenhead, an English Duke, who is also working as a spy for the English King.

Prudence Macafee is poor and stuck on a farm with her Grandfather when her brother tricks the Marquess of Daventry into signing as her Guardian if he dies at Waterloo.

This is the first in Elizabeth Hoyt's "Prince" trilogy.  I liked this book very much.  I had never read anything by this author before and I believe this may be her first book.  Very good period piece.  I loved Anna and Edward.  They were both so insecure but still wanting.  Anna has a really good heart and did not have a happy marriage.  Widowed 6 years before Anna is almost brok

Truly a wounded hero.  I loved the way neither hero nor heroine ever gave up.  They knew they had to deal with each other, and they kept trying--rather than standing on false pride.  Truly satisfying and enjoyable.
