Historical Romance

The Honourable Annelise Kempton desired nothing more than to come between Christian Montclam and her charge, Hetty Chipple.  Annelise does attract the attention of Christian, who finds her much more interesting than the younger and more attractive Miss Chipple. 

This is the first story I've read by Anne Stuart and I enjoyed it very much.

Louisa Bryce, a lady with a secret past, thought she had nothing in common with the handsome and wealthy Anthony Stalbridge until their first kiss. 

I really enjoyed this new Amanda Quick story.  Her characters seem to be unlikely couples, but are really great matches for each other.

Ok, I'm falling in love with Susan Wiggs all over again.   Purcased my Sony Reader and of course, wanted to fill it up with ebooks so purchased this delightful offering for Ms. Wiggs.  Like the title suggest, this story is totally charming...

Victoria Bylin write male characters who are believable.  In The Bounty Hunter's Bride, a warm and touching historical romance, I thought I could smell the stink coming off hero Beau Morgan when he came off the range into town badly in need of a bath.

Lady Miranda Rosington loves her husband deeply and she is devastated to learn he is looking for a mistress.   She has been happily married to Daniel for many years and they have two wonderful children. However, questions abound about Miranda's health.  

This is a wonderful book. Its basic premise is that Eli a Black Editor and writer of the Gazette is going out of business. He is trying to attract the interest of a black Publisher a Mr. G. W. Hicks. Mr Hicks prefers that the men in his employ be married.  It is this situation that compels Eli to ask a favor of longtime friend Jewel.
