A short, fast paced read about a sexy alpha hellbent on revenge but whose motivation and methods change when he meets the spirited and kind-natured heroine. The title is very appropriate.

I liked this book.  The hero was strong and the heroine was equally strong.  Not sure about the black moment.  Nothing really tragic happened to pull the lovers apart.  Still, it was a refreshing read.  And very hot!

Andrea has a secret, and she's hanging on to it tight as she gets riding lessons from surly, hardened cowboy Hank Ledbetter. But the sexy rancher might just pry that secret out of her with those knee-melting smiles. 

Pollyanna MacDonald is doing more than trying to get away from the big city when she moves with her eight-year-old son Gil to Mule Hollow, Texas.  She's trying to get away from all the pain of being in a place where memories of Marc are all around her.  Next-door neighbor, the reclusive Nate Talbert, at first makes no effort to get to know the MacDonald's, but when he finally overcomes enough of his emotional pain from the loss of his wife to welcome them to Mule Hollow, he discovers a flood in the making:  Polly has tackled the plumbing! 

The Family Plan by Cathy McDavid is about Jolyn Sutherland, her career in show-riding is over because of a fall from a horse and Chase Raintree the local vet. Chase is the father of a eight year old girl.  Jolyn's mother suspects that Chase is not the biological father of his daughter.

 I enjoyed reading this book.  It was a nice light quick read.
