I've heard such positive things about Hannah Alexander that I knew I had to try her.  I wasn't led astray as this book was EXCELLENT!

Sophia Hess has lived to be 80 and now has found a place to settle for her last days.  She isn’t expecting happiness, as she has known so little of it in her life.  She carefully selected a relative’s home to reside in after petitioning and then visiting several relatives; her nephew, Patrick, and his wife, Rachel, offered the best prospects.

Tales from Grace Chapel Inn  Book 2... or Book 5  (depending on who you listen to)

This was a very well-written story about a woman who returns to the small Nantucket neighborhood she grew up in. She must face a lot of demons from her childhood and teenage years, including the paternity of her daughter, and the boy who was her best friend and is now her next door neighbor and the island vet.

I had to read another Catherine Palmer after finishing those two wonderful books by her!  And lo and behold, I found another great one!

I had to go back and listen to the first book after finishing the second one.  And I was NOT disappointed!

I'm always leery of books with social workers but this one really worked for me!
