All that stands in the way of Dante Carrazzo and revenge is Mackenzi Keogh. Mackenzi will do anything to save her hotel—something Dante uses to his advantage: he'll reconsider if she becomes his mistress! Mackenzi knows she shouldn't trust Dante, but the pleasure he gives is too intense to resist. However, their bargain is compromised when Dante learns she is pregnant….
Spoiler Warning: All my reviews contain spoilers to some degree
Favourite Scene:
‘So what was the point of hanging around?’ Mackenzi said, angling up her chin. ‘It was all over in a minute, after which you promptly rolled over and went to sleep. Hardly worth hanging around for.’
The cockiness slid from his face, her insult finding its mark. ‘All over in a minute? Seems to me I remember you enjoying every second of that minute.’
She shrugged. ‘It was okay, I guess.’
Back Cover:
Jordan has struggled to forget Gino Bortelli, the arrogant, sexy Italian with whom she had an affair ten years before. Things had ended abruptly, but Jordan still craved Gino's touch. No man yet had made her feel as Gino had... Now he's back! Older, richer and sexier, Gino still has the power to make Jordan melt. He knows something Jordan would prefer be kept secret and he's prepared to use it -- to have her, bed her, any way he wants her. And, to Jordan's shame, she can't say no...
Favourite Scene: (I love that he won't marry anyone else)
She couldn’t have been more wrong. He’d never be able to put tonight—or her—out of his mind. And guilt was going to be his constant companion from now on.
As for Claudia…Gino could see that he would have to break off their relationship. She was a very nice girl, but she wanted to get married.
After this, marriage was permanently off Gino’s agenda. If he couldn’t marry Jordan, then he wouldn’t marry anyone.
Favourite Scene: (absolutely ADORED this scene, especially the "for the second time" and "but all that is absolutely ok!" line that the hero says to stop her from crying)
‘Are you saying that you love me?’ Andreo shot at her incredulously.
‘To death…love you just so much,’ she stressed, suffering from emotional overload and very near to tears in her over-excitement.
Andreo focused on her with dazed dark golden eyes. ‘But you were leaving me again…’
Pippa nodded and compressed tremulous lips.
‘For the second time,’ Andreo emphasised.
Pippa nodded again, tears of regret clogging up her vocal cords.
‘Even though I’d asked you to marry me…’
The tears overflowed and streamed in a silent river down her cheeks.
‘But all that is absolutely OK!’ Andreo insisted in panic at the sight of those tears. ‘Honestly, I have no idea why I’m so full of complaints. I’m crazy about you and I’ll be crazy about our baby too. I can forgive you for anything. Please don’t cry, amore.’

The marriage persuasion...
Businessman Carlo Carlucci won't take no for an answer. The passionate Italian has set his sights on British tour guide Francesca Bernard, who stirs him with her beauty and innocence more than any other woman...
But Francesca is also an heiress, and already engaged to a man whom Carlo believes is a gold-digger. There's only one way he can protect Francesca—and fulfil his desire—and that's to claim her for himself, as his wife. So begins Carlo's slow, but intense, and incredibly sensual, seduction to persuade Francesca to become his bride...
Favourite Scene: (aw, he is unsteady seeing her cry)
'I h-hate you,' she sobbed.
'Si' he agreed with a touch of unsteadiness. 'I am a monster. Shout at me. Slap my face. But don't weep; I'm not worth it.'
Back Cover:
It was payday for Prince Nicolo Barbieri. The Italian aristocrat's negotiations to take over Manhattan's SCB bank were about to bear fruit. But he wasn't expecting Aimee Black, granddaughter of the bank's current owner-- who was pregnant with Nicolo's baby! Nicolo felt duty bound to marry Aimee and give his child his name. But Aimee had other ideas about surrendering herself to this arrogant foreigner, who surely didn't love her!
Favourite Scene: (I love the supressed excitement in an adult man!)
"Of course," Nicolo had said calmly but when he hung up, he'd pumped his fist in victory.
Another Fav Scene: (ha! I just knew when I read this at the beginning that the mighty would fall and regret mocking marriage! I hope the other two men who laughed at marriage have stories about them meeting their Waterloo!)
"Life," Lucas would say solemnly, "is short."
"And Marriage," Damian would add even more solemnly, "is forever."
The last part of the toast was left to Nicolo.
"And freedom," he'd say dramatically, "freedom, gentlemen, is everything!"

Blackmailed by the Count to be a willing wife...
Miranda still loves her estranged husband,'Count Dante Severini, and she would do anything to be with him and their son. But Dante clearly hates her - treating her like an unfaithful gold-digger...
Much as it pains him to do so, Dante has had no choice but to believe the evidence against his wife. He had wanted nothing more to do with Miranda - but their son has been missing his mother. So he issues her with a dramatic command: Miranda must come to live with him in his Italian palazzo. In exchange for a life of unparalleled luxury she must pretend that they are happily married.. .that she is his loving, willing wife...
My Review:
Darn hero. Silly man, living man and wife with the heroine for four years and still not knowing her well enough (or being home enough) to know and trust that she was a loving mother and faithful wife?
Back Cover:
Allesandro di Vincenzo is a perfect male specimen. There's no woman he can't have—until Laura Stowe crosses his path.
Laura is plain, poor and hides behind her homely appearance to avoid getting close to people.
But Allesandro needs her family connections to open the door to ultimate corporate power. So he must woo the ugly duckling into his bed—where she will learn what it is to be a beautiful, desired swan.
My Reivew:
I'm not usually a fan of ugly duckling stories, because I like to see the hero attracted to the heroine at first sight, I don't like her having to get a makeover before he thinks she's beautiful. This book could get on your nerves if you dislike hearing the hero talk about how the heroine lacks or hides her looks. The chemistry was great in this book though!
