 I've enjoyed all the Millionaire of the Month  series including this one. It was been a few days since I read it and I've forgotten my  thoughts about it

Kendall gets fired from the job she puts in her 2 week notice for when she tells her boss another company already hired her.  It's a direct rival to her current company that prompts the quick boot out the door.  Though her boss Matthias pays her well, he does not see that she wants to move up the ladder and not end up stuck in the 'personal assistant' position.

Jack Howington is the last one for the month log stay at the Lodge.  Jack is met upon his arrival by his best friend's shy little sister Meredith who had become a breathtaking young woman.  When Hunter died, he was supposed to take care of Meri, but couldn't face up to it, so he abandoned her and watched from afar.  Meri is still smarting over Jack's rejection, she is determined to seduce Jack
