After finishing The Kommandant's Girl, I couldn't wait to dive into The Diplomat's Wife. I was really interested in reading about Marta's continuing story, and her version of the events that occured in The Kommandant's Girl.

I've never knitted in my life but I thought about trying after reading this book. I love how Ms. Macomber knits together a fabulous story about four women who become friends after taking a knitting class together and how their lives change. I'm thoroughly looking forward to reading the other books in the Blossom Street series.

What a fantastic book! I love the large size of MIRA books! There are stories that not only are great book reads, but are also great winter reads. I simply loved the story, and the adult themes. This is a wonderful example of Debbie's writing at it's best. No wonder she is at the top of the lists. This story is a wonderful saga with fantasic true to life characters. A wonderful read. Highly recommend this one.
