After finishing The Kommandant's Girl, I couldn't wait to dive into The Diplomat's Wife.  I was really interested in reading about Marta's continuing story, and her version of the events that occured in The Kommandant's Girl.

I've never knitted in my life but I thought about trying after reading this book. I love how Ms. Macomber knits together a fabulous story about four women who become friends after taking a knitting class together and how their lives change. I'm thoroughly looking forward to reading the other books in the Blossom Street series.

What a fantastic book!  I love the large size of MIRA books!  There are stories that not only are great book reads, but are also great winter reads.  I simply loved the story, and the adult themes.  For a daughter to have to even entertain the idea that her father who passed 20 years earlier had a dark secret, and a dildo in the truck, is an intersting topic.  Lots of unexpected twists and tu

This is a wonderful example of Debbie's writing at it's best.  No wonder she is at the top of the lists.  This story is a wonderful saga with fantasic true to life characters.  A wonderful read.  Highly recommend this one.

I confess, I read this book months ago, taking advantage of my position as a Harlequin employee to snag (borrow, liberate) an ARC from our PR department. I read SILENT IN THE GRAVE last year and loved it, so when I spied this sequel lying on a table, I had to have it!
