Mistaken Mistress by Tessa Radley (Silhouette Desire, 2008)
Copied Blurb:
Joshua Saxon, the arrogant millionaire who ran New Zealand's premier winery, believed Alyssa Blake had been his late brother's mistress. But the true connection between Alyssa and the Saxons was even more shocking.
From the first moment they met, both Alyssa and Joshua had been shaken by a passion that could not be denied. But what could the future hold for a man and woman with so many secrets and lies between them...?
Lip Service: Tantalizing & My Lips Are Sealed
Mistaken identity plots are some of my favs. This book has two fun ones. Tantalizing is a reprint from Lori Foster, that was just as good the second time around. My Lips are Sealed is a new short piece that was also a light-hearted and fun read.
Ice in His Veins by Carole Mortimer (HP 437)
Back Cover:
No way would Eden agree to his demands
Jason Earle had no right to make demands, much less insist that she go to England to see David Morton, her grandfather. After all, the old man had ignored Eden for years.
True, Jason, his emissary, was breathtakingly handsome and a media magnate, as well. But that didn't give him power over Eden.
Yet she did go. The shock of her grandfather's death marred her arrival and removed him from her life. It also bound her irrevocably to the devastating Jason.
Favourite Scene: (banter!)
‘Be my guest,’ he drawled. ‘Or whatever else you want to be,’ he added huskily. ‘I’m open to offers.’
‘If I have to pay for my room and board in that way I’d rather go to a hotel!’ she lied.
He was still smiling that infuriating smile. ‘You don’t have to do anything. I was just wondering whether you’d care to share your room.’
‘No, I wouldn’t,’ she told him stiffly.
‘Not used to waking up and finding the man still in bed with you in the morning?’ he taunted.
‘That’s right!’ Eden snapped angrily.

Favourite Scene: (post-coital misunderstanding, he wants an explaination for why she was a virgin, she thinks he wants a rating on performance)
‘Speak to me,’ he demanded, and his sharp tone finally roused her from her semi-conscious state.
‘It was amazing,’ she said faintly. ‘You’re very good.’
Shock flared in his dark eyes and he muttered something in Greek under his breath. ‘That is not what I was asking you,’ he breathed, faint colour highlighting the perfection of his bone structure.
The Seduction of Keira (HP 1472)
Back Cover:
She was supposed to be a modern-day Delilah
When Keira Mary Brooks returned to Sydney, her cousin Justin greeted her with open arms. It was not what she'd expected.
Neither were Justin's plans. He wanted Keira to assume the alias Delilah O'Neil and to seduce a man.
For the sake of family, Keira reluctantly agreed. But then she met Nick Sarazan, the man of her dreams. 'Come dance with me,' said Nick. 'I'll show you we're made for each other.'

My Review:
The heroine is a free spirit. The heroine is asked by her cousin to "seduce" a man away from his wife (they are having marriage problems but he wants her back). The heroine reluctantly plays along, but then she meets a man and is attracted to him and runs off with him. Too late she finds out that the hero is actually the guy she was supposed to seduce, and he has in fact been seducing her to keep her out of the way.

My Review:
The heroine's cousin is getting married, but the cousin spent the night hanging out with her ex-flame. Her future brother-in-law saw her walk out the next morning, and is threatening to tell her future husband. The heroine is asked to pretend it was HER that morning. She flirts with the hero to distract him, to keep him from interfering with the wedding.
A Question of Love by Annabel Murray (HP 1188)
Back Cover:
So this was how it happened!
Venna had often wondered what it would be like. It wasn't, as novelists implied, a sudden bolt from the blue.
It was just this quiet knowledge as she looked at him, this acceptance of the inevitable that had been growing in her for days. She had fallen in love with Keir Trevelyan.
She should have felt ecstatic. Instead she was full of despair. For Keir thought she was the woman who'd seduced his brother for the sake of a baby - and there was just no way to explain. Not without losing the baby - and Keir.

Favourite Scene:
"You win, this time. But," he went on and now he spoke emphatically, "if you ever do give yourself to a man, it's going to be me. Just remember that!"
