Catering to Nobody by Diane Mott Davidson
2 Stars. A murder mystery, fun, lighthearted read. Goldy-the main character, was a caterer. Her ex-father-in-law was poisoned, Goldy became suspect/person of interest, so with the help of her son, she tried to find who put the poison in the food, the story unfolded from there. The jokes were a little bit predictable, but the ending had a twist & susprise element in it. NFM
The Seance by Heather Graham
This was another good one by Heather Graham. I really like her stories. I loved all the characters and I must say I was back and forth about who could be the real killer. I highly recommend this one if you like paranormal and mysteries. Excellent!

THE BLACK OPAL by Victoria Holt [Other 39]
Somehow I'd missed this one when I first started reading romances. Carmel March has a romantic beginning: found under a rosebush in the garden of Commonwood House. Is she truly half-Gypsy?
