Second installment in The Negotiator series. I really enjoyed this one. Lots of intrigue. Questions left dangling at the end. Some romance, but it's secondary to the plot. That doesn't bother me, but if you want a clear-cut romance then you might need to think hard about this one. Margrit Knight gets even more involved with the 5 remaining "old races". Who is aligned with whom, who poses dangers to whom? And who and what is Grace? I'm looking forward to the 3rd installment (due out in September). Available from LUNA and audible.com. I really enjoyed this installment -- first of at least three. So far, I'm liking this series better than The Walker Papers (also by Murphy), which I really enjoyed. He doesn`t harm her, but when she gets home she sees a murder on the news--and the prime suspect matches the description of the man she met in the park. Soon, he shows up elsewhere in her life...then disappears with supernatural speed. Is he the killer? Or something else?
