The Master
Third in the Nightfall series. An exiled brother is chosen by a woman in need to help her complete a perious task.
The Wolf
Second in the Nightfal series. The second brother meets his match in a girl who knew before the brothers were all exiled.
Not as good as the first, but still a fun romp in a series with a lot of promise.
The Sword
The first book in Johnson's Nightfall series -- Kelly Doyle is saved from a terrible fire by a mysterious mage, and finds herself in a fantasy world on an island with eight brothers -- and no women.
A good start to a new series by a debut author.
Water for Elephants
A literary novel about an old man who remembers his youth, when he worked for a traveling circus as a vet.
Very engrossing read about a circus, a love affair, human foibles. It's all bookcased by the man "today", in an assisted living facility, remembering the events that occured in his youth. Recommended.
Love on the Dark Side
A graphically erotic paranormal anthology consisting of 15 stories featuring a variety of creatures and settings. Not for all readers.
