The Little Pocket Book of Death
I picked this book up on a whim and, while I'm not obessesed with death, I do like a good horror story. So, I thought this book might be fun - and it was. Lots of interesting facts, legends, and humor in this one! And of course, now my husband thinks I've lost my mind because of some of the things I thought were so funny! LOL

BARACK OBAMA: THIS IMPROBABLE QUEST by John K. Wilson
I don't want to get into any political debates and actually thought about not even posting I'd read this one for that reason. But I did want it to show for the Challenge since we are trying to reach a goal....
Bud, Blossom, and Leaf by Dorothy Morrison

Siblings Without Rivalry by Faber & Mazish (non-fiction, 1987)
My sister gave me this book and asked when we were visiting a couple of months ago if I'd read it. Apparently, she thinks it would help and could tell that I hadn't. It actually didn't tell me anything that I hadn't learned in Parenting Classes. What I need is a support group that meets every couple of weeks so I keep the skills in the front of my mind and use them first. NFM
Creating Characters byDonald Swain
This is a reprint of Swain's 1990 book on the nuts and bolts behind the creation of characters. As with his preivous book, Techniques of a Selling Wrtier, Swain compacts a lot of material in a highly readable book. He uses broad brush strokes so that the reader can understnad how to use the techniques. With his background in pulp ficiton.Swain is acutely aware of the demands of the medium.
