older heroine

The heroine turns 40 during the book, the H is one year older. The h was a nurse and is now a registrar and the H is her new boss and her new next door neighbor. They fall in love quickly but he doesn't recognize it b/c of a bad first marriage. How will she win him over? Great supporting cast of characters. I like books where you get a feel for the friends and community. NFM

A story with both the H and h being older (51 and 50).  Both widowed -- she 5 years ago, he about 15 years ago.  They begin a relationship but before it can really get off the ground, she has a financial setback and pulls away without explaining why.  Of course, they work it out in the end but the resolution came a bit too quickly and easily IMHO.  Set in a general practice and with both the h
