Jacob

challenge_name:

The first book in the Nightwalkers series by Jacquleyn Frank.  This is a world of demons that are the good guys.  As this world is very different from other paramormals that I have read, I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading the other books in the series.

MIS-STAKED by J Morgan

challenge_name:

SYNOPSIS:  The monkey is in charge and nothing will ever be the same again....

Halfway to the Grave

challenge_name:

Just finished the first Night Huntress story HALFWAY TO THE GRAVE by Jeaniene Frost and had to run right out and buy the sequel. A sure sign of a good read. Heroine Cat Crawfield is a half vamp dedicated to killing any vampires whose path she crosses until the night she targets a vamp she just can't stake.

Dead Over Heals by Mary Janice Davidson

challenge_name:

I am not a big fan of anthologies, but MJD does a great job with them.  The first story is about Sinclair and Betsy and deals with their honeymoon in NYC.  Unfortunately for them, Jessica and Nick decide to tag along with them.  Even worse for all of them is when a child ends up dead in front of their hotel.

Midnight Pleasures (Paranormal Anthology)

challenge_name:

Paranormal romances.  I read this a few years ago then found it again. Two stories are historicals, which really aren't my thing.  One is about Erin and V'Aiden and I liked that one, about a creative person being sucked dry by dream demons like the hero.

Stroke of Midnight (Paranormal Anthology)

challenge_name:

Paranormal romances.  Ok.  The one by Banks made me unhappy and sob like a baby because the heroine died and could only see the hero once a year (no happy ending).
