paranormal romance
steamy elemental witches
A steamy read, with plenty of tension in all its forms.
After a chaotic marriage and a rough divorce, all Mira Hoskins wants is stability and normality. But when sexy Jack McAllister enters her life, she discovers that what you want isn't always what you need.
Looking Backward and Building for the Future in THE CALLING Vampire Novels
There are lots of things I love about writing vampires, but one of the most interesting things is the ability to look backward into their past lives so that I can build their lives in the future. All those years of past life experience have really helped to create some very memorable characters for me.
BITTEN & SMITTEN by Michelle Rowen
Bk #99--Sarah just became a vampire and her sire was killed by vampire hunters who are now after her. Suicidal vampire elder Thierry de Bennicoeur unwillingly comes to her aid and agrees to help her navigate her new vampire life as long as she agrees to follow his rules. Interesting & entertaining story. I plan to look for the other titles in the series. NFM
OVER MY DEAD BODY by Michele Bardsley
Bk #97--Simone Sweet doesn't know who to trust with her past so she trusts no one. But she's beginning to believe she can trust Braddock Hayes. Braddock Hayes has his own secrets that will change Simone's life--yet again. Great follow-up. looking forward to the rest. NFM
The Latest Anita Blake
#17 in the series. A bit slower paced than some of the previous installlments. Anita's got more junk to wade through than normal as she breaks Vegas Metro into her brand of investigating, and they've got more magic to smack her around with than St Louis PD. The culmination of Marmee Noir and Vittorio's storylines end here, I'm not sure how I feel about those.
Would You Believe?
When I saw the cover of MORE THAN A MAN, my August Intrigue, I did a double take. The great-looking guy on the cover is the spitting image of my son. Did the art department find a picture of him? Or is it just an accident? The skin tone’s off. My son’s got more olive coloration. And his hair is shorter. But that’s HIM. And if he ever sees this post, he’ll probably come afte
Kiss of Darkness by Heather Graham
First, let me say that I love Heather Graham's paranormal novels. However, this one wasn't my favorite. I liked the overall story and I wanted to finish to find out what was going on. But I was very confused for the first half of the book. Not the type of confused where you read to find out the answer at the end.
Kiss of Fate - a Dragonfire Novel
The third in the Dragonfire series, we follow the firestorm of Eric, leader of the Pyr. Strong characters, good story line and great continuity. Can be read in series or stand alone.
The Vampire's Bride - Another Tale of Atlantis
This new tale of Atlantis follows Layel, the King of the Vampire's. When the Gods become bored and decide to have their own personal version of survivor with two of each specie on Atlantis, they give new meaning to voting people off the island. Gena Showalter is a master at entertaining. She pulls you in for a great ride..I mean read!
204. Circle of Desire by Keri Arthur ... Amazing... and terrifying
4.5 hearts ~ This is the third, and final, book in Keri Arthur's Damask Circle series. The story has elements that are even darker and more evil than either of the first two books... and that's saying something.
I love the werewolf element ~ there's my love of wolves coming out again ~ and that both the H and h are shifters, albeit different species.
