This is book two in the Payback Affairs series. I really enjoyed this one. At the reading of the will, Mitch and his siblings find out that their father had an illegitimate son. They are all given instructions and if any one of them does not make it through the year, they will lose billiions. Mitch's task is to bring baby Rhett to the Kincaid mansion where he must live with him for the year.

The second in Emilie Rose's "The Payback Affairs" series though it obviously was orginally called "The Trust Fund Affairs" series.  At the end of this one it says not to miss Wed by Deception as part of "The Trust Fund Affairs".  Oh well.  I enjoyed this one very much.  It was a nice story and fun to see Mitch discover so much about himself.  Carly and R

This is the first in Emilie Rose's "The Payback Affairs".  I really liked it.  This author has become a favorite.  I'm looking forward to finding out what Everett Kincaid has in store for his other children.  In this story Rand Kincaid must take over the Kincaid cruise business and hire his former lover Tara as his personal assistant for a year in order to keep the business and home

Because of their father's will, Rand Kincaid is forced to return to the family business. If he doesn't agree to become CEO of the family cruise line for one year, he and his brother and sister will lose their inheritance. Rand has made his own fortune in the five years that he has been away and does not need his fathers money.

Thought he was killed the day they were married.  He is responsible for  all of their business headaches probably richer than Dad was! She had proved she could stand up to him, was his equal, as she parried his business moves.

Her husband abandoned Nadia when he died eleven years ago, on their wedding day. Lucas was bitter about Nadia leaving him to fend for himself eleven years ago. Both were victims of Nadia’s manipulative father. Would the wrongs be erased by his will?

Rose takes the reader on a journey of an immature, spoiled, rich girl’s growth into a strong, centered woman. She writes with passion, fear and hope. There were times when it was hard to like either Lucas or Nadia, but I found it impossible to hate either one of them, too. This is a fast, well-paced read until the end. I found the ending just a bit rushed. Overall, a thumbs up read.
