I really enjoyed the strength I read in this book, it was an emotionally powerful book, moments of tears and laughter. Now it's just up to me to describe it :S

Due to the teaser on the back cover I had expected a bit of quirky to blow
in with Hurricane Hannah. On that point I definitely was right. There
were a couple of interesting secondary characters that added to the
plot. I also got the insights to the mind of a love sick alligator.

Bailey Wingate is seen as gold-digger who marries her husband as he was dying of cancer, only a few people know that it was a business deal set up to ensure that his kids don’t blow through all of the money.  Cam Justice, a pilot with the air service she uses, doesn’t think much of her until the two survive a plane crash together.  They survived the crash, but can they continue to survive until rescue comes and will their feelings for each other change?

I loved The Pilot's Wife by Anita Shreve. It is about a wife who has to deal with her husband's death when his plane crashes. As the investagation into the crash develops Kathryn learns that her husband has secrets.
