The Italian Boss's Mistress by Lynne Graham (HP 2367)

Favourite Scene: (absolutely ADORED this scene, especially the "for the second time" and "but all that is absolutely ok!" line that the hero says to stop her from crying)

‘Are you saying that you love me?’ Andreo shot at her incredulously.

‘To death…love you just so much,’ she stressed, suffering from emotional overload and very near to tears in her over-excitement.

Andreo focused on her with dazed dark golden eyes. ‘But you were leaving me again…’

Pippa nodded and compressed tremulous lips.

‘For the second time,’ Andreo emphasised.

Pippa nodded again, tears of regret clogging up her vocal cords.

‘Even though I’d asked you to marry me…’

The tears overflowed and streamed in a silent river down her cheeks.

‘But all that is absolutely OK!’ Andreo insisted in panic at the sight of those tears. ‘Honestly, I have no idea why I’m so full of complaints. I’m crazy about you and I’ll be crazy about our baby too. I can forgive you for anything. Please don’t cry, amore.’

His pregnant mistress by Carol Marinelli (HP 2460)

challenge_name:

Made me want to cry at times, out of a sense of loss.  They lost their relationship seven years ago when he believed some lies his brother said out of desperation.  Now his brother dies of cancer leaving the heroine pregnant.  The hero can't get past the idea that his woman is pregnant with his brother's child.  He accepts it though.  Then she reveals that the brother was gay, the pregnancy was invitro fertilization with the aim to save his life.  There is intense passion between the couple, even though she's seven to eight months pregnant, he's more attracted to her than any other woman.  It's intense.

Rating: 4/5 stars, I absolutely LOATHE books that make me cry.  The fact that I loved this book tells you a lot about how well done it was, how well written.

Claiming His Pregnant Wife by Kim Lawrence HP 2662 Sep 07

Okay, so let's start off by saying I'm a sucker for ‘reunion' stories where the couple has lost their love along the way. Add the fact that she was pregnant when they split and he didn't know about it and that book'll rise to the top of my TBR pile.
