PROCTECTOR OF ONE by Rachel Lee SRS 4/09
I've read several Conrad County books in the past. In fact, I found the series mid stream and then searched for some back titles, but never found them all. I was hoping to catch up with some of the characters from previuos books, and I did recognize a few, but this book stand firmly on it's own.

Protector of One--A psychic heroine and her bodyguard
I'm a huge Rachel Lee fan. I'm a romantic suspense lover. I love characters with psychic abilities, especially when it comes to using those abilities to solve a murder/rescue an intended victim/etc. And wounded warriors turned bodyguards are hot!

140. Touching Midnight by Fiona Brand ... Startlingly enthralling!
4.5 stars ~ A fantastic amalgam of mystery, romance, ancient culture, strong women, passionate warriors, courage, compassion, villainy. Along with these diverse and riveting elements, and a gradual building of tension, this story kept me glued to the pages.
