Sleep Softly
This was a very intense, fast-paced cop thriller loaded with twists and turns. I completely enjoyed it and will soon be looking for more of Ms. Hunter's books! Loved the main character, Ashlee Davenport, a non-nonsense ER nurse who is not afraid of anything.

Seven years ago Will Hooper arrested Theodore Glenn, a brilliant sociopathic killer who escapes from prison during an earthquake. He has vowed to get even with Will and Robin McKenna, a stripper who id'ed him. He leaves a trail of bodies in his wake.
