The Number of the Beast
This is a pretty good scifi adventure that centers around to couples who are fleeing thier home planet and universe in order to escape murder at the hands of aliens with a similiar multiple universe jumping technology. There are multiple earths and multiple times line. The Characters travel to the land of Oz and Wonderland after discovering that even imagined realities are in fact real.
Humans
Volume 2 of the Neanderthal Parallax introduces new characters and continues to develop relationships and themes from Volume 1, Hominids. Darker than the first book, but lightened by touches of hope and humour. I look forward to reading Volume 3, Hybrids.

The Sky Inside by Clare B. Dunkle (Atheneum, 2008)
Highly recommended, not just because it’s a good read but also for the theme.

Silenced by Nicole Givens Kurtz
For the past few months or so I've been waiting for this book and a new
sci-fi series to sink my teeth into. Silenced certainly delivered. The

2146 during a time with the United States has broken up into smaller
territories. In the running for the governor position is Mayor
