Secrets We Keep

An excellent book filled with pulls on your heart. Belle Davenport has been married to Ivo Grenville for 3 years, but they've never really integrated their lives. Belle finally works the courage up to leave him. And Ivo decides that he has to win her back. They have kept secrets from each other, including how much they love each other. They really thought that they'd married for reasons other than love, but each of them fell hard and fast early on. How will they find their HEA with Belle's secrets coming crashing down on them when they are both high-profile figures? Will they actually get to know each other this go-round? I had to re-read this one after reading Ivo's sister's story (Married in a Whirlwind, Nov 08). I liked this one best of the two, but they're both wonderful, highly recommended reads. First in the Secrets We Keep trilogy, also tied to Wedded in a Whirlwind by Liz. NFM

Another pull on the heart strings from Liz! Miranda "Manda" Grenville and Nick Jago are two souls who have closed themselves off from everyone, including the families who love them. She was the hero's sister and was not likable. It was interesting to see what her demons were. It was great to see these two people become what they become, separately and together. Not part of Secrets We Keep trilogy, but tied to the first one in that trilogy. NFM
