serial killer
Unhallowed Ground by Heather Graham
Another great paranormal from Heather Graham!
Adam
Dekker’s known for his twisty suspense reads, and Adam is definitely one of those. He’s also an inspirational author, and though it’s not in your face like some inspirational reads, Adam definitely has theological roots. It’s a serial killer story, and something of a medical thriller.
Two by Twilight by Maggie Shayne (Wings in the Night stories #9 & #6)
This is another of Maggie Shayne's "Wings in the Night" series which is a reprint of two books in the series. This one includes "Run From Twilight", #9 in the series and "Twilight Vows" which is #6 in the series. I liked both these stories but now I'm reading #7 and it takes place before #9 and is linked to that story more than the others.
Kill for Me by Karen Rose
Another fantastic book by Karen Rose. This story wraps up the last trilogy by KR. I can't say too much about it because it would give something away. But this was a huge story. So much going on, so many people involved you'd think you'd get lost before the end. I kept imagining how much the author had to have mapped out with so many involved and so many twists and turns and overlapping.
Chasing Darknes - An Elvis Cole Thriller
Robert Crais is one of my fav authors. He can weave a spell binding suspense that keeps you turning pages. In Chasing Darkness, Elvis is stunned to learn the man he proved innocent of killing a young woman may have been guilty. In fact, he may have killed more young women. Cole thinks his original investigation was sound.
Nothing to Fear by Karen Rose
This is another great book by Karen Rose. She's one of my auto-buys now, though I am having to wait for her hardbacks to come out on paperback. But, as I've just in the past year or so, found this author, I still have a few of her backlist yet to read. This was one.
Hide - In Plain Sight
Bobby Dodge, once a sniper for the Massachusetts State Police and now a police detective, gets called to a horrific crime scene in the middle of the night by fellow detective and ex-lover D.D. Warren. An underground chamber has been discovered on the property of a former Boston mental hospital containing six small mummified female bodies in clear garbage bags.
Silver Falls by Anne Stuart (Mira, 2009)
3 1/2 Hearts....I am not actually sure yet how I feel about this book. I love, love, love Anne Stuart, but this book lacked the flair and punch of her past books. Yet it still kept me turning the pages.
Copied Blurb:
Trace of Doubt (A Billie Quinn Case book 2) by Erica Orloff
Australian release: April 2008 as Romantic Suspense, Bombshell
Blurb:
Criminalist Billie Quinn lived and breathed the evidence. People lied. But DNA never let her down. Or could it?
Danger Signals (2008) by Kathleen Creighton (SRS # 1507)
This was the first book in ‘The Taken’ series. I will have to look up the other books and see if they sound as good as this one. Tierney had a lot to deal with and seemed to handle it very well. She has a gift of empathy that takes what we all should normally have and enhances it quite a bit.
