This book is comprised of two stories which begin the Pride series by Shelly Laurenston.

It's been sixteen years since wolf Bobby Ray Smith left Jessie Ann Ward and Smithtown to join the Navy. When he runs into her again at a function his firm provides the security for, he is once again struck by his overwhelming attraction for the wild dog. She, however, is determined to ignore her attraction to him because of his rejection of her the night before he left all those years ago.

     I got this book as soon as I saw it in the store ~ after all it had stories by both Angela Knight and Lora Leigh, both of whom are favourites and autobuys for me. Both these stories I really liked, as I had thought that I would.
  What I hadn’t really expected was that I would like the other two stories as well. I did, slightly, prefer Virginia Kantra’s story to Alyssa Day’s; but either way, this book rates a very solid 4.0, aka Excellent!! The steaminess rating? They’re all definitely more along the lines of romantica ~ Heat Wave anyone?

The third book in the Psy-Changeling series. This is about Judd Lauren - an ex-Arrow. An elite soldier in the Psy Council ranks. He has dropped out of the Psy-Net with his family.

Brenna Kincaid, abducted by a serial killer. Her mind was violated, and she had thoughts implanted in her. These thoughts run so deep she fears she could become a killer herself.

     Holy cow!  Talk about a lot left waiting to be worked out... although Rachel Vincent did a marvelous job with the suspenseful ending.  All the points that needed to be cleared up, were; yet there is so much to mull over now that I've finished the book.  There are so many what's-going-to-happens that I may have to re-read the story just to placate myself while waiting for Pride to come out... this fall if I'm not mistaken. 
     Faythe Sanders continues to mature, but is still dealing with a sense of losing herself, her dreams... but she's likely to lose a lot more if she continues bewailing her circumstances.  She is going to have to do some serious thinking about what is really important because, unfortunately for her, her life is not the way that she wants it; hopefully this is her just her youth speaking.  Growing up, maturing, is about making choices ~  no one is ever able to have everything that they want... life isn't like that.  You take what you're given and go from there.  Dreams are good... but not if you're going to throw away everything else you have.

Having read, and loved, Keri Arthur’s Riley Jenson, Guardian series and knowing that she has written other stories, I started looking around.  Lo and behold I found one!  And it’s the first in which I hope is a series ~ LifeMate Connections:  Eryn because I’m very interested in more stories.
