South

Her Mother's Keeper by Nora Roberts, Silhouette 1983

challenge_name:

Another vintage Nora, reissued with Song of the West in a book titled "With Open Arms".  The two books together were out in 2004.

Bad Boys Southern Style by JoAnn Ross, E.C. Sheedy & Jill Shalvis (Brava)

challenge_name:

I've read quite a few Brava anthologies lately and this is my favourite so far. It is the only one were I liked all the stories. And I got to discover another new to me author.

The story: Three stories taking place in the South. Suspense with Jill Shalvis, fun with E.C. Sheedy and magic with JoAnn Ross. All of them very HOT.

Moonlighting by Heather MacAllister (HT 785)

challenge_name:

When she was 18 Amber Madison thought she was in love with Logan Van Dell and that the two of them were running away from small town life in Belle Rive, Mississippi to their future in NYC.  Only Logan left her at the bus station and for the past 8 years Amber has struggled to get by.

AN ICE COLD GRAVE [Other 1]

challenge_name:

Third in the Harper Connolly mystery series.  This was way sexier than I like, but the mystery itself was good.  Heartrending, but good.  As usual, she makes you want to find out what happened and who did it.  Then, just when you think you have it all solved, she throws in a twist that you hadn’t previous suspected (unless you’re very, very good).
