In the days before social networking websites like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter became the place to meet friends, Halloween was a night for romance. Young women looked forward to the harvest with corn-husking parties and bobbing for apples with the eligible men. It was a night when flirting was not frowned upon but encouraged.

Dipping my pen into shiny black ink, I smile, recalling that glorious summer of 1928 when the irises bloomed blue in the fields beside a cool lake outside Berlin.  

And I spent my days in the nude. 

Tossing a medicine ball and posing for photographs.

I love the character of Lady Eve Marlowe in my new Spice release, Cleopatra's Perfume, and decided to write a Prequel about her adventures in 1928 Berlin before my book takes place called: The Berlin Sex Diary of Lady Eve Marlowe.

Before the heroine in “Cleopatra’s Perfume,” Lady Eve Marlowe, married a member of the British peerage, she was a cabaret dancer in Berlin during the wild days of the Weimar Republic in the 1920s.
