129. Jeri Smith-Ready ~ Voice of Crow ~ LUNA (Oct 2007) ~ "Aspect of Crow" series
My daughter read Voice of Crow as soon as it arrived and as soon as she was done, Teresa insisted that I read it right away. So glad that I listened to her. Needless to say I really want to get the third book ~ Reawakened ~ soon... tomorrow would be good.
While the ending was complete for this story, again we know that there's trouble just over the horizon... and I really want to know what's going to happen ~ I really don't like being on tenterhooks.
Again, Jeri Smith-Ready tells an enthralling story as we once again follow Rhia as she grows further into the powers of her Spirit, Crow. Marek and Rhia are now married and expecting their child... but peace is further away than ever. The emotional tenor of the story ebbs and flows; there are moments of lightheartedness, of a more day-to-day experience, but always lurking is the tension that comes with knowing that they're fighting for their lives, for their way of life. But there is a thread of hope that weaves through the story: Excellently told ~ another outstanding story in the Aspect of Crow series.... VERY, VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom by Don Miguel Ruiz
Here is my 42nd book....dont worry I am getting back to romance with my next read.
86. Jeri Smith-Ready ~ Eyes of Crow ~ LUNA ~ Nov 2006
I approached this book with some trepidation. Tammys and others raved about this book last year, but I am more than a little leery of books from the Fantasy / Paranormal genre. I do have some series of books in my collection that definitely come under the Fantasy designation, but only two or three.. usually they're just not my thing.
But with my introduction to the LUNA line via Laura Anne Gilman's Staying Dead and how much I enjoyed it, I decided that I could be a little more open-minded. Uh... I can now officially say that I will be getting any subsequent books in this series and I'll be checking other releases from this imprint. Good thing I have friends... and mini-challenges like this month's.

A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose by Eckhart Tolle
This is the current read for Oprah's book club. Starting on March 3 (next Monday) there will be a 10 week course about working the program in this book.
I have been listening to this book at work, while I read the previous book that I just posted. I just happened to finish it the very same day.
19. Jory Strong: Spirit Flight ~ Spirits Shared ~ Two Spirits [ebooks ~ 245 pages]
These three stories, while quite able to stand alone, are excellent when read one after the other ~ too bad that I started with the last one first… but that happens with me a lot!
