As a prepublished author and one who's enjoyed participating in all the different contests offered by eHQN (both official contests and the ones on the writing challenges board), I've discovered something very important about my writing.
I don't know who I want to be when I grow up.
I loved the pacing of this book. It just started and flew. Great hero - excellent premise.
The Baby Doctors by Janice Macdonald
(Harlequin Superromance - October 2007)
Rating: Good
I got this book as a Free Book Friday, I think, and it took me a while to get around to it, because I don't particularly like babies, and there's a ginormous one on the front cover.
Did someone put the wrong cover on this book? Because I soon discovered that there aren't any babies in this book. None at all, near as I can remember.
Just got home from RT. Wow, what a wonderful time! I sat with Molly O'Keefe at the Awards Luncheon. She's a good friend, and she won the Reviewers' Choice Award for Best Superromance of '08!!

Through a million-dollar inheritance, an impulse buy and a motherless little girl, a jaded lawyer and a widower father learn the true value of love.
I picked this book up for the cover -- great cover and was totally in love with the hero by page ten. Great chemistry. Great humour. Heroine and the conflicts were believable and totally entertaining. Great book
