suspense
A hot book and a hot bowl of hearty soup for fall.
The Charlemange Pursuit
Questions from his son have made Cotton Malone want to find out what happened when his father's submarine went down in 1971. However, he did not realize that requesting the classified file would cause all of the fallout that it did.
My Search for the Best...
For years I've bee

The Fury by Jason Pinter
Fun book. Henry Parker sure knows how to get himself into some sticky situations! Love the first person narrative. I enjoy the Hard Case Crime stories and Jason Pinter's stories definitely go along in that vein. Hard to put down. A book continues into the next one.
Next reads: Carol Townend and Liz Fielding
Who's reading what?
What's everyone reading these days? I'm not reading anything, but I will be.
Ultimate Heroes
While I was writing Bravo Tango Cowboy, I kept thinking of Hawk as the ultimate hero. Imagine how pleased I was that it got the tag Ultimate Hero and was named a TOP PICK by Romantic Times. When former Navy SEAL, Hawk Taylor, found out that the daughter of the mysterious, sensual woman had been missing for two years, he know what he had to do. He said, "I'll find her." Not I'll try. A four-year-old girl had been abducted from the zoo. He wouldn't give up until the girl's mother had her daugther or at least had closure. His only concern was that he would find the girl dead and destroy the woman he was fast falling in love with. A woman he knew he could never have
But failure was never an option!
Hot touches in Touch Me
I could not put this book down. The plot kept me engaged as did the extremely hot love scenes. This book gave just the right level of detail without bogging me, the reader, down. It was a quick read. Well, either that, or I was just so engrossed I couldn't put it down. I was so into it I realized that I wanted to tell others about it.
Vengeance Road by Rick Mofina
First time I have read this author. More action than character development but yet, he does some very intriguing things with characterization, creating dynamics between characters. This book jsut got better and better as I read it.
289. The Laundry Hag by Jennifer L. Hart ... Funny, suspenseful, good mystery.. what's not to love?
4.5 hearts ~ I read this story just over a year ago but I got word that Jenn has, in the works, The Laundry Hag 2. I just had to revisit Maggie and the insanity that is her life. And I'm eagerly awaiting the next story... soon, very, very soon, I hope!

Mistletoe & Murder
This story was another great. The characters had the opposites attraction going on. They played off each others disadvantagements. If you like to read these types you will love this book. I really love the fact that Mallory had faith in Shamus when no one else did. Shamus repayed this by being there for Mallory when all of her alleged friends turned against her at the first sign of danger.
