This is the first book in the series The Taken, which connects back to her Starrs of the West series and the sil from the Top Gun’s Return. The story is about Wade, a cop with the Portland PD and Tiernay, an empath, who is working with them to find a serial killer. The two connect and begin to have feelings for each other, but with Tiernay’s abilities, will she be willing to open to a relationship?
