An Unlikely Mommy by Tanya Michaels (American Romance #1203)

challenge_name:

I loved Tanya Michaels' Trouble in Tennessee, so of course I had to get my hands on the follow-up, An Unlikely Mommy.

The story: Ronnie Carter is a mechanic and doesn't see herself as mommy material, but then she falls for Jason McDeere, a father to a little girl.

Eloquent Silence by Sandra Brown 1982 (Brilliance Audio recorded 2005)

challenge_name:

eloquent silenceOne of the first things I heard on this audio was a disclaimer that times have changed and what was acceptable in 1982 may not be acceptable now. That made me curious. Listening to Joyce Bean tell the story, I could see why the disclaimer was there. We were definitely dealing with an alpha male (not one of my fav heros) among other things.
