I found the blurb interesting and different to the usual storylines. I was eager to read the whole story to discover how the conflicts and the relationship between the H/h develops with everything they have against them.

This is one of Valerie Hansen's warm, witty Arkansas stories, and it's a delight. Every character surprises, and you can't help smiling while you read. Lillie Delaney flees the big city for the comfort of home, but finds nothing is the same: her grandfather has run off, her grandmother is hiding in the house, and the new town pastor is a motorcyle-riding rebel.

I got this book as a Free Book Friday, I think, and it took me a while to get around to it, because I don't particularly like babies, and there's a ginormous one on the front cover.

Did someone put the wrong cover on this book? Because I soon discovered that there aren't any babies in this book. None at all, near as I can remember.
