BLAZING BEDTIME STORIES, HB #447, Feb09
Bk #43--An entertaining read. I'm a big fan of Ms. Raye's and I love her writing style. I had to know what happened in the latest installment from Skull Creek-- snd sexy Matt Keller--so I got the book. And I wasn't disappointed with the story. But Leslie Kelly and Rhonda Nelson were both new-to-me authors. I thought Leslie Kelly wrote an entertaining tale.

Once Upon a Valentine's by Holly Jacobs
*swoon* I loved this book from top to bottom. It was fun, sexy and realistic. Chuck and Carly were a perfect match and I loved that they had a sort of traditional dating--so rare in most romance books--but also sexy and fun. Excellent read. And I'll add my two cents to the general concensus around the boards--we need Andy's story. :-)

Full-time single mom, full-time nursing student, part-time arsonist, Carly Lewis is purging "love" from her system. This was a good read. Rhiannon and Kane had a hot relationship in college, until Kane disappeared and Rhiannon discovered she was pregnant. They spent the next several years avoiding each other, resenting each other, and assuming the worst in many ways.

16. Plum Lovin' by Janet Evanovich ... just plum fun!
3.5 stars ~ I enjoyed this story, but not to the degree that I do JEs usual PLUM stories, or even the reprint of Smitten reviewed just previous. This story was a Valentine's day tie-in, but it didn't flow as well as other stories by this wickedly funny author. Still, it's nothing to turn my nose up at ~ and I did like Diesel.. YUM, did I like Diesel! ~ but not enough Joe or even Ranger for me.

290. Anthology ~ Tex Appeal ~ HB #375 [Feb 08]
What a fabulous and fun anthology... of course it helps that there are three VERY sexy cowboy heroes. Each story had such a unique character, but the continuity and the sub-romance were almost as exciting to follow as each tale. Kimberly Raye I already knew that I liked ~ I'd just finished Dead Sexy before I read this book ~ but both Alison Kent's and Cara Summers' stories *appealed* to me just as much, certainly enough that I'll be on the lookout for more of their books.
I know... sometimes I'm quite slow to catch on to some of the amazing authors here at eHarlequin... but I'm finding 'em!
