     The first half to two-thirds of this story was wonderful ~ and I fully intend on finding the first story and continuing with the trilogy ~ but somewhere past the halfway mark it's as though everything went into warp speed.  I'm not sure what it was and I can't really pinpoint what it is, but it was as though there were a finite number of pages left and all of a sudden everything needed to be done, now.  That's not to say that I didn't like the story ~ Kyle was too yummy for words! ~ and I loved the relationship between Kyle and Tamara, as well as those between Kyle and the other people that he started letting into his life... I just felt a little adrift is all.  Maybe if this was written for another imprint; this'd be a great book to turn into a novel.  But as I mentioned before, I'm definitely going to be looking for the other books in this trilogy as well as other books by Mr. Jordan.
